BRANDING PRESENTATION

Dearest Wim, thank you for the opportunity to collaborate on such an exciting relaunch. We’ve really enjoyed diving into the brand and reimagining what a bold return could look like. It’s been a rewarding process, and we’re excited to share where this creative journey has led us.

 

In this presentation, you’ll find two distinct identity routes. One evolves your existing branding — elevating it with a more refined, premium feel. The other draws inspiration from your photographic legacy, reinterpreted through a modern lens. Both routes have been designed to feel confident, considered, and ready to signal a strong return — a clear message that the brand is back and better than ever.

 

The current website visuals are intended to showcase the branding direction and haven’t been fully unpacked yet. Once a route is approved, we’ll begin refining the look and feel across the site — working page by page and offering suggestions to improve flow and user experience.

Route One

This logo was built around the idea of an abstract, tusk-inspired "T" — not a literal symbol, but a mark that captures the strength, curve, and motion of a tusk in a completely unique way. It’s sculptural and modern, designed to stand alone with confidence and feel instantly recognisable.

The colour palette is warm and refined, with muted tones and a signature Kalahari orange that nods to the landscapes of Southern Africa. It helps ground the brand in something real and rooted, while still feeling clean, tech-forward, and premium.

The result is a bold, intelligent identity — one that balances heritage and innovation, and feels just as at home in a high-end digital space as it does in the wild.

Route Two

In Route Two, we explored a blend of classic and modern aesthetics. By pairing classic typography with a fresh, contemporary layout, this direction strikes a balance between timeless elegance and modern versatility. The color palette consists of deep greens and blues, infused with a vibrant pop of orange for a touch of playfulness, all complemented by copper accents. These copper finishes are perfect for branding applications such as foiling on menus, business cards, or coasters, adding a tangible sense of luxury. To enhance the identity, we designed an icon featuring a hand holding a key and a cocktail mixing spoon, subtly nodding to the exclusivity and artistry of The Muse. This route is dynamic, approachable, and brimming with branding possibilities.
