WELCOME TO RUMBLE'S
BRANDING PRESENTATION REVERT

Dearest Lizanne,

We have left some notes on the press but one of the key areas we focussed was on photography, so we’ve created a few more images that follow the same saturation and tone as the initial direction. We’ve also put together a gallery to showcase image treatments. The key is that the same sense of fun and energy comes through in how imagery is styled and treated.

The patterns have evolved into the more blobby and playful direction from the earlier routes – and we feel it’s the perfect fit for the brand. The intention is to refine these forms further so they abstractly nod to the Rumble letterforms, without being too obvious. For now, this phase is more about showcasing the overall effect and tone.

In terms of colour, we’ve shown a few combinations to explore how they play together – but honestly, the full palette works beautifully. Whether contrasting or soft, the colours can be mixed and matched with great effect. If needed, we can refine or select key combos from here.

I'm starting to rumble on.... enjoy the revert ; )

The biggest change we’re leaning into is defining the primary colour. We love the navy – it grounds the brand and balances the vibrancy and playfulness really well. That said, the deep plum stood out too; it offers a totally different, nostalgic and almost retro feel that’s still unique and on-brand.

So, we thought – why choose? We’d love to keep both. The idea is to use navy and plum intentionally, for example, navy to speak more to parents and plum to connect with kids. The true strength of this brand is in its versatility of colour, and we believe the primary branding should flex across the palette. Mixing it up becomes part of the brand’s identity – a visual asset in itself (see email signatures).

Another reason the deep plum and navy work so well as primary colours is that they don’t suggest a specific flavour, and when placed behind any of the brights, they never compete for attention. They quietly anchor the vibrancy and allow the full palette to shine.
