The Branding Presentation 

Revert One

In Revert One, we explored a refinement of Route 3 from the initial presentation. We introduced subtle embossing textures across the brand and carried this through into elements of the website design to enhance depth and tactility. A new business card concept was developed, one that can seamlessly translate into an NFC format, and we also elevated the email signature to ensure every touchpoint feels considered and cohesive.

 

A few explorations didn’t quite land as intended:

 

We tested a copper finish on the icon ribbons, but ultimately decided to remove metallic textures altogether. While gold and copper often signal luxury, in this instance they competed with the logo and disrupted the brand’s clarity. The overall aesthetic is clean, masculine, and high-end, and the metallic treatment began to feel slightly forced rather than refined.

 

We also revisited the subtle colour strip from Route One, placing it at the base to help unify the system. However, upon review, we felt the brand doesn’t truly require this additional element. The icon ribbon, particularly the ‘K’ device, already provides a strong and elegant anchor across applications, making the colour strip largely unnecessary. That said, it remains a flexible supporting device that can be used intentionally in larger-scale layouts, such as billboards, where an additional grounding element may be beneficial.
